It’s Feb. 29, 2024; the date made me think of leap and its many definitions:
Leap means to jump to a great height or to move quickly. As a noun, it can also mean a huge change or increase.
Leap of faith means to do something even if you’re unsure whether it will succeed. It’s an act of courage and belief in something intangible.
By leaps and bounds means something is progressing very rapidly.
Leap in the dark means that the outcome or consequence is unknown.
Looking back in your life, do you recall a time that you took a leap of faith? How was it? How did it turn out? No matter the outcome, I’m sure it was or even still is an amazing story.
Or were you more cautious and careful? There’s nothing wrong with that too. As long as you made a decision that your heart is peaceful with and your mind is untroubled.
You may even give yourself the gift of being unfazed and calm amidst the leap of stimuli and changes day by day.

Are you expecting progress in your life by leaps and bounds? Do you expect to see results at once? In certain areas, the improvement that you like to happen are visible in a span of a few days.
But in many cases, they are not. Some progress may take years to take effect or to manifest, so patience and consistency are needed.
Do you want to improve your writing? Just write and write every day until words flow easily and until you find your style. Do you like to improve your physique? Do your regular exercises day after day and eat healthy food. Do you strive to be financially stable? It could mean years of disciplined hard work, budgeting and saving funds. Would you like to achieve peace of mind? It may be possible if you practice being calm and unbothered, if you are content with your life, and if you connect with yourself and with God.
May this Leap Year bring you success and happiness.
